Your Privacy Choices

This page explains the choices you have about your personal information in LUCID and how to use them. The Privacy Policy describes what we collect and why.

HORUS does not sell your personal information, does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not use it for targeted advertising. There is nothing to opt out of, but if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing and honor it.

2. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it, and get a copy in a portable format;
correct information that is wrong;
delete your information and your account;
limit the use of sensitive personal information, which we use only to provide LUCID and as the law permits;
withdraw consent you have given, and object to or restrict certain processing.

We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

3. How to make a request

Email horusneurotechnologies@gmail.com from the address on your LUCID account, with "Privacy request" in the subject and what you would like us to do. We confirm your identity before acting, and we respond within the time the law requires, generally 30 to 45 days. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows; we may ask the agent for proof of authority. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

4. Choices inside LUCID

Your details: change your display name, role, institution, note signature and settings in Settings, at any time.
Email: LUCID sends service messages only, such as sign-in codes, password resets and free trial reminders. We do not send marketing email unless you agree to it.
Cookies: LUCID uses only strictly necessary cookies; see the Cookie Notice.
Your account: to close your account and delete its information, make a request as described above. We delete or de-identify it within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.

5. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
