This Cookie Notice explains how LUCID, at https://lucid.horusneuro.com, uses cookies and similar technologies. Please read it together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and connections that stay open while a page is in use, can do comparable jobs. In this notice, "cookies" covers all of them.

2. The cookies LUCID uses

LUCID uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for:

  • Sign-in cookies keep you signed in after you sign in with Google, so you are not asked again on every page.
  • Security cookies protect sign-in and forms against cross-site request forgery.
  • A session connection links your browser to LUCID while the app is open. It holds the case you are working on in memory only, and it ends when you close the tab.

Limits on repeated sign-in attempts use a keyed, one-way hash of your network address, kept on our servers rather than in a cookie.

3. Cookies set by others on their own pages

When you choose to use them, other services set their own cookies on their own pages, under their own policies:

  • Google, on its sign-in pages, when you sign in with Google;
  • Stripe, on its checkout and billing pages, when you choose or manage a plan.

LUCID's pages also load typefaces from Google Fonts. LUCID sets no cookie for this, but your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details.

4. What LUCID does not use

LUCID does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, third-party analytics or social media pixels, and it does not let others place them on its pages. Because LUCID uses only strictly necessary cookies, it does not show a cookie banner.

5. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, sign-in and parts of LUCID will not work. LUCID honors Global Privacy Control signals; see Your Privacy Choices.

6. Changes to this notice

If we change the cookies LUCID uses, we will update this notice and its effective date before the change takes effect, and we will ask for your consent first if the law requires it.
